Wordless Wednesday - Project Runway

Morgan is one creative and busy kid. She dreams up projects and she will drive me crazy won't stop until she completes them.
Last week she decided to fashion her own garment, so she gathered up some of my ugliest scrap fabrics, and with needle and thread, set to work.
Two days of later, she unveiled this toga-inspired ensemble, complete with horsey cap-sleeves and coordinating belt.
Of course, as it was her first design, she learned that being able to actually walk in it would be helpful... but in the fashion world, not necessarily necessary. But after one good cut up the back with scissors, she was good to go.
Morgan then declared that she was going to premiere her latest fashion at school. For a moment I thought about all the clothing disagreements we'll probably have in the future, I decided to choose my battles wisely, and give her a pass on this one. Besides, she was so dang proud of it, how could I say no?

She's so in.

You absolutely cannot say no! Of course she must wear it--that's what she made it for. I think she's got some major design skills, there. Look at that smile on her face--so proud! Did you teach her to sew or did she figure it out herself?

I love it.

So, I'll be looking for Morgan in about 10 or so years on Project Runway?! What a cutie patootie - I love her ensemble. I was nowhere near that ambitious or creative at that age.

Wow, I'm really impressed! That's not bad. I agree with JJ - she has Project Runway written all over her!

WOW~! I am pretty sure if you gave me three months and Tim Gunn, I would not be able to pull that together. Nice work, Morgan!
