Snow Day

There's no better reason to do only the bare minimum than a snowy day.
The horses certainly enjoyed the fresh snow.

Meanwhile, Morgan spent a good part of the day practicing to be the next Duff Goldman.

Beautiful pictures, both human and animal. I went horseback riding this summer in VA while on vacation. After not being on one in over 30 years, I was almost in traction. It would take a lot of serious riding before these old muscles would corporate.

The horses look like they are having such a good time. John's jealous of all your horses. He fancies himself a horse whisperer because he worked with horses at a summer camp for years. Somehow, that doesn't seem resume worthy.

Morgan's cake rocks!

Nice pics!

It was in the 70's here today. I guess we've had our week of winter.

Gorgeous. We still have residual snow on the ground, but our weekend was in the low 50s, which was welcome, because we've had plenty of snow days already. I'd love to ride again, it's been years.

Coffeypot - Keep at it! C'mon, you need to add cowboy to your resume.

Lori - Just another reason you two have to make a trip north!!

Brian - Thank you.

Frank - shut up! (I mean that in the nicest way possible)

Mtnmama - the (barn) doors always open!

Bev - yes it was fantastic, thank you.

Brooklyn - They look happy at that moment but trust me, they get sick of this shit after awhile too.

Otin - Thank you (I won't tell the horses though - it goes straight to their heads)

OBMJ - Hmmmm, did it taste as good as it looks??? Let me think about that. Ummm, yes. But what can expect from food that is BLUE?

Calicobop - It sure was. Good times indeed.

Chris - Welcome! Glad to see you here. That's a fabulous idea, except, well, the horses are angry drunks. Yeah, sloppy lushes!

First of all - LOVE the cake.

And - OMG - the photo of your "hores" [sic] made my heart sing! WOW. They are amazing! AMAZING! And laughing at "sloppy drunks", funny lady, thanks for the laugh and the eye-candy hor[s]e photos.

Well, I live in Northern Indiana where there is a max. of four inches on the ground, and I already have a two-hour delay (which rarely happens), and most of Michigan got and/or will get more than that, so I think the chances of you getting a cancellation due to road conditions is pretty likely.
