Anyway, one of the items on my list was to ride as a flag girl in the rodeo... You know, this:
Anyhoo, I got my chance while living in Florida when I got hired by the Dodge Truck Rodeo Team. And I have to say, I loved it! Every week we got dolled up in gaudy, glittery, sequ
ined outfits and galloped around the rodeo arena, carry the US flag or Dodge flag between each rodeo event. Midway through the rodeo we'd come out and perform a wild, galloping drill routine. Seriously, such an awesome job!
And did I mention copious amount of the tight little cowboy butts in tight little jeans. Occupational BONUS!
All this in exchange for just staying on my horse...
oh, and having to wear a cowboy hat.

I would love to ride a horse around for a job, minus the sparkly outfits, but I'd definitely need to stay on the saddle... or I'd get trampled like a horse apple.
The second cowgirl in that first photo makes me laugh. I know she's not really falling off, but it looks like she is.
Now I can check "Knowing a stunt double" off of my bucket list.
You do so many cool things. I get wore out just reading your stuff. I think I will try to read slower so I won't get so tired.
I think you rock the hat and am madly jealous about the occupational perk of cowboy bums. Seriously...who needs benefits??

Lori - Right? I can't believe they paid me too. The eye candy alone was payment enough. And I briefly dated one of those cowboys. It wasn't as fun as I had hoped for, but that's another post.
