Welcome to Amsterdam

My Mother and I have arrived in Amsterdam. I extremely happy that our first leg of our trip went very well (read: no sleeping on a terminal floor or sitting on a tarmac for hours!). We fell asleep immediately after dinner and never woke until we arrived in Amsterdam. That's my kind of flying.
We will have a lay over here for 7 hours and then fly to Almaty.
Thank you everyone for all your kind and encouraging words!

JJ's Aunt here.. Sleeping most of the trip is a good way to get there faster. Beck is one of the luckiest kids in the world. He will get a good home with 2 great parents.

Woo-hoo! I'm so happy to hear you arrived safely in Amsterdam! Too bad no time to explore the city - I was there for a week and LOVED it! Lots of bridges, bikes, and yummy pastries! We're thinking of you! Can't wait until you get Beck (and Tim Anara). Have fun :)

Now, if you can just get to Kyrg...kinda tough without a driver huh? Hang in there! Remember I expect the "female version" of this entire trip...I'll probably only get the condensed "man version" from Tim ;) Hug my baby for me and tell Tim I love him.
