Long Shot - NaSePiMo

Here's our boy, Wrong Street (AKA Taz), winning the Tampa Bay Sports Club Trophy Race.

Note the worrisome look on Taz's face as he crosses the wire. Perhaps he's a bit confused because normally at that point he sees lots of tails and horse butts in front of him. But on this day, he lead the pack and pulled off his first (and only) victory.

He was a fabulous long shot, paying $19.40 on a $2 wager! And apparently such a long shot that no one in his posse felt the need to dress up for the occasion... especially the 2 on the far left in the bottom photo. Yikes! Or perhaps they're photo-bombing track bums. Hawt!

A belated congrats to Taz! Just think if you had bet $100 on him you would have won $970! Right?

Did Taz whirl around in a cloud of dust, snarling and slobbering everywhere?!

Yeah, those two on the left look like they've escaped from a family reunion somewhere close by.

They might have been at a family reunion, but I'm willing to bet their family tree doesn't branch out very much.

Way to go, Taz!

Math sucks.

I think the guys on the left were really supposed to be at the nascar races - wrong track!

Courtney - He's 6. A total sweetheart.

Mjenks - think they're related????

Bev - you need to come over and ride!!!... although he is a loooong way up!

Mary - I know, hard to take your eyes of them, eh?

Samsmama - yes, it's the family stick.
Did you really check out the dude on the left's shirt? I thought he was wearing some sort of trendy gradient shirt... but on closer inspection...

Nancy- HA!!! You may be right. But I was thinking more along the line of the demolition derby... oh, wait.

It's not the ride up that I'm worried about... it's the "unscheduled dismounts" that I fear!!

But thanks for the offer! One of these days I'll take you up on it again. :)

Oh come on Bev - the unscheduled dismounts are what it's all about... LOL. Just pretend you are a cat - you will land on your feet that way...
