So I'm starting to think September wasn't the most exciting time of the year to celebrate NaSePiMo... but I'm hangin' in there. And I'm thankful (and impressed) that you are too.
So for your viewing pleasure...
Here's a pretty typical Friday night here at the Mixed Nuts.
Dinner and some TV... What's on the menu, you ask? Maple pan seared salmon.. yum, if I say so myself... and apparently, so says the dog as well. Who needs to vac?!

Gettin' a bit ahead of yourself with that post heading, ain't ya? But I guess that just goes to show how Wild and Crazy it really is!
Oh damn! I had to read your comment 3 times before I figured it out.
Oh well, Saturday wishes it was as exciting as Friday.
FML
Ha ha... Mala doesn't know what day it is!
Ok, at least they're eating something delish! My kids had chicken nuggets in front of the TV. Somehow it just feels wrong to feed them fish in front of Spongebob, ya know?
Anyway, TGIF! "I need a weekend!"
I noticed that too but was going to let it go, because I'm nice like that. Alright, who am I kidding? I was going to be all over that shit! But I gave her the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe it was a picture from last weekend.
Salmon...YUM! Spongebob, be damned!
My word verf is "wormings". Sick.
P.S. I've never understood the little wheelchair symbol next to the word verf box. Slow down? That's how I roll? I don't get it.
LOL @ fish in front of Spongebob!
Samsmama, click on that symbol.
Audio? So I can comment if I'm blind? Are there a lot of blind bloggers/readers?
Yup. It's kinda creepy sounding, too, ain't it?
No, I'm serious. It's for the blind. The background sounds like reversed audio.
Bev - Alls I know is that's NOT what it said on my days of the week undies. Oh my.
"I need a weekend" - that sort of talk will get your ass kicked 'round here!
Samsmama- You've been a down-right Mother Theresa lately! What's up?
And too funny, I was just making mental note today of that handicap icon. I thought it would have come in handy when I somehow screwed up the word verf three times in a row over at Bev's blog. Seriously, freaky! What language is that? And how do blind people see that icon to click on it? It's all just so wrong.
Frank - See what you started!
And am I the only one who craves sea life while watching SpongeBob?
Oh if only I could have gotten my hooks into a nice hoki! Mmmmmmm....
Mmmm... salmon... Sounds like a lovely dinner! Dog approved! :)
Mala, one of the things I miss the MOST about my labs is how they used to to such a thorough job of floor cleanup for me! Never a stray Cheerio on OUR floor, no ma'am! Now I'm forced to actually vaccum & stuff myself. grrr.
and I think serving fish in front of Spongebob is completely appropriate.
Whenever I watch Spongebob I crave all forms of seafood, especially crab cakes and lobster.
And I'm still completely baffled by the handicap icon.
My kids would be so totally jealous of the kiddie table! We used to plenty of tv trays but now we are down to one, so the kids get to "have a picnic" whenever they get to eat in front of the TV. :D
I'm totally down with two Saturdays a week! For the record, I never caught the extra Saturday either.
CalicoBop - Yes, thank you, it was tasty. But that's true for almost anything your crystalize in Maple syrup, yes?
MtnMama - My aunt always said she would someday name a dog "pre-wash"
Samsmama - We MUST get to the bottom of this asinine icon! Really, I think Blogger is just making fun of blind people.
OBMJ - Thank you for over-looking my little friday night blunder. Unlike some people (FRANK!) who had to hurry to call me out (Bastard!) on a simple little mistake that anyone could have made after 5 or 6 mini beers! Shesh!
